i think my IE is having prob. Blogger & FB are appearing weird to me and I'm the only one facing the prob. this week at work has been... hectic.

first came the part abt the unfair expectations. I think my boss, being busier this period, came to expect too much from me. and when I can't give what he expects, he sorta expressed it thru one email and one sms that were enuff to make me damn upset & disappointed. which explains my previous post. He has all the while been a nice boss, so I think he was too impatient. come on... somethings can't come to me as simply as 'putting on my thinking cap' because of the fact that I am undertrained and inexperienced...

but well, havent really got the chance to talk to him. I expect we may do it next week, since all the interns are gone and there's only me left. got praised today by the client for my writing... so even though I was dead beat from working late last night and waking up damn early in the morning... I was happy. somehow it managed to make up a little bit for all the negativity this earlier in the week (:

委屈

not sure if you would say this is a much-awaited day. but offically convocated today! (: mum and brother came and didn't got my dad to take leave for this. many photos with my dear uncle paul who volunteered, months ago, to take pictures for me at my convocation. only today did I know that he dotes on me becos he didn't have a daughter. two sons. I always tot it was because I happen to be spending alot of time at the shop with him and my uncle.

and guess what, he's not even my blood-related uncle. so it makes it even more significant for me that he takes time out of his busy schedule to help me. and today he said he wants to come down to my place again to take a full family portrait.... awww. I am seriously touched by his kind gestures.

and... there was one person I would loooove to see at the ceremony but he wasn't there. cos again, leave. haha. jer's leave is very precious cos he needs it to study for his exam. its ok! I will go to his convocation :D

the accident prone me is back to experiencing a serious of knocks and falls. or if you wanna call it a streak of bad luck.

for some unknown reason, i mysteriously fell quite badly outside the clinic across JP. while accompanying him there. and to remind myself how silly and careless I was. I took pics of my injuries. please don't fall again like that. the inconvenience and possible scars are not welcomed!



and if you noticed, the pictures of the two hands... are actually one hand - my right. jer & i still cant figure out how I managed to hurt both sides in ONE fall. lol. honestly... I sometimes nd to limp around cos certain angles make my wound damn alot. and the big bruise on my left leg is damn ugly. it doesn't help that my right knee's injury hasn't harden yet... so I am fragile now!

I said series right? cos I just hit my head hard on the kitchen cabinet. my mum opened to make tea for us. and usually i lower my head to avoid it. today?

I walked right into it without knowing.

I dunno why~!

muffins!

had a sudden urge to make sth this afternn. was just browsing online while waiting for boss to come back (yeah, this week is a bit boring) and I ran out of things to satisfy my 'online window shopping'. so I was flipping thru old mails, deleting, re-reading... when I saw an old recipe an ex-colleague sent me.

hey... why not look at recipes?

that triggered sth.

felt this sudden urge to make a non-bake cake, or muffins! decided to make choc chip banana muffin cos (wanna guess?) this is one of jer's favourite combi. and I felt like making sth to 'reciprocate' his yummy potato salad.

after work I immediately went to JP to get all my ingredients. and voila... after dinner, I baked two rounds to finish my batch of muffins. they were easy to make and tasted great (: I'm hoping to improve the recipe by adding more bananas.

woots. hope there are many more baking like this to come!
