well... Friday night was a quiet one. had wanted to drop by JP for a walk but e heavy rain spoilt my plans. So head home lo... maybe later today ba. =p didn't go JP for a long time liao.

my MJ kakis went out for dinner last nite. Those living in e east n north. but us 'westies' nv go cos too far away, and for me... its too late to go out. Even if someone's driving us back also cant la. so e few of us stayed behind. And i basically spent e whole nite nua-ing hehe. catching up with Eugene etc on MSN.

ah well... can feel e nearing exam stress on us. I just realised e first paper is like 2wks away? and i havent done any revision yet. So... Monday onwards must really buck up after handing my last project up. I believe can finish by today so tml can pia tut ba! jia you, shuxian, on our IT project...

TGIF! this wk have thankfully passed... monday with acctg quiz, wed with FM quiz... and e translation quiz today...

next up is the IT project on Sunday. The last piece of info i lacked, alrdy found it thanks to shushan... actually it can be found in e suggested website from Olaf leh. haha, made one big round to find that its actually there... yup, so this wkend might be less stressed as i thought it would be.

Now in e library with Pris. We just finished our translation quiz n I'm getting some printing done... notes la, tut la... and also sun bian print some exam papers... gotta get into mugging mode gal, lots to be done...

Sunday - cousin's wedding @ Shangri-La

I've nv stepped into a 5-star hotel b4. haha... or is it 6 ah? dunno la... hee. When we reached e cocktail reception alrdy started. Saw my cousin in his tuxedo looking very suave. haha... till then i still havent seen e bride, cos not very close to this cousin ma. Then just mingle around... look out for some 'long-lost' relatives and me n bro were nudging each other to get a drink. haha... not cocktail la. bluff de. all coke, sprite etc only.

later we got bored cos everything too formal la. so my bro and i, plus some nieces and nephews whom we are closer with, went out to e arcade room. They wanted to play pool, of cos i dunno so just watched... then my twin nephews came out to play. They're sec 4 this yr. My my... they play pool very well for their age lo. Me and bro were quite surprised cos they're those good boys kind, and mum's strict(very...) etc. so where did they pick pool up? later they told us their dad taught them... wahaha.

then i pulled my bro and a niece to explore the exterior of e hotel. The poolside and the beach in front of the hotel. took a pic with my niece though... its with her... haha. shall get her to send me one day... we did bring a camera but my bro refused to take it out.

so during the whole dinner, we sneaked out a few times when we can... haha. Cos its boring to just sit there n eat. and we took e opportunity to explore. and my twin nephews turned damn red after a few sips of e red wine, and became e 'topic' of the dinner. haha... make them even more paiseh...

long time nv attend wedding dinner le... actually its not the grandness that makes it memorable... i always like CNY and wedding dinners cos we get to see relatives we seldom see. Like this nephew alrdy one plus yr old, but that night was e first time i see him. LOL. and my twin nephews ask me if i still remember their names... aiyo, how would i forget right? haha... happy weekend. busy, tired, but definitely fulfilling...

Saturday - BBQ with MJ kakis

well... the pictures i posted ytd spoke for themselves. hehe. Among us there were kakis with families, students like me, singles, busy wking adults etc. We finally met for a big gathering. it started quiet of cos, as most of them are nocturnal pp. heh. Bernard was very kind to drive to e hawker center to buy lunch for us while we played cards and waited for everyone to arrive. so we shared lunch tog, opened up everything n took a bit of this and that and just chat. wa... first time i felt so relaxed last wk. away from all e stupid project deadlines. =p

around 4 we started the BBQ. u noe... its e first time i went to a BBQ w/o going near the pit. haha... the guys were very gentlemen la, set e fire and 'peng' everything for us. Chu even said those nv eat will be thrown into e sea... who dare to not eat right?! hehe... and also the chicken wings were all BBQed to perfection... no overcooked or undercooked chicken wings. So its eat play and joke... by evening everyone was there. Us younger ladies helped Bernard and Phil to look after e kids lo. as u all can see... they're so cute right! annabelle(belle belle or bei4 bei4) is the one with two ponytails. she is very hyper and not shy of strangers. very easy to play with, but hard to look after. there were a few times she dashed out onto e footpath after a dog or just for fun. and me or her dad haf to run after her. haha...

after dinner was chatting, sitting around, joking... till like 10 plus then we made a move. and when i reached home it was like midnight. Ash-jie and Gloria was quite nice to ask me to sms them when i reach home. Cos they all noe i live e furthest. haha...

Its really hard for outsiders to understand, the kind of friendship we all share i guess. I used to think that I will not ever meet friends whom i got to noe online. Becos they mostly have motives when they want to meet. But this grp is different... can u imagine logging in every night, without fail like after 8 every night to play MJ and chat tog? The pp in this room is sincerely there to make friends and u can feel genuine friendship coming from there. Of cos... there are nasty pp whom we cant stop from dropping by our table trying to be funny. but we always look out for each other inside. so ya... and last wk, when i was having serious prob with my individual projects... a few of them were very helpful and tried to help me solve my prob. which they did. And Porshe even fwded me some stuff he found online, even though he's a busy man...

Of cos... i never forget u guys la... =D I'm just saying for pp whom u start out as total strangers with nothing or little in common (alright, MJ is our common interest inside hehe), its very amazing such friendships can develop ya? Only Kelly-mei will see this, but still want to say...

Thks to all my MJ kakis... for all e advice, opinions, jokes etc whenever we're all gathered in there. So glad i met u guys... Hope this can kp up ya? Looking fwd to our chalet. *cross fingers* hope Gloria get e chalet!

Sunday: hand up individual IT project... this will seriously kill me! its more like a financial project lo. To do up an Excel tool for monitoring portfolios on investments. not to mention this wkend is packed!

WAH! Shuxian... u haf e same IT tutor as me... i think u understand my plight. haha. i went to call up 2 of my cousins to ask them how exactly shld a portfolio look like. Cos i really haf no idea! Then they also couldn't give mevery exact answers cos they say there are diff types. and it also depends on wad we wan to show etc. aiyo. so chim! my cousin said my project is real tough. and she wked in bank b4 leh... *peng* I think i shall roughly do sth up based on the suggestions they give me(which is pretty rough... :( ...) and quickly go ask my tutor for his opinions. STRESSED!!!

how can someone be so idiotic? HUH?! He will really be e death of me sometimes leh... wa piang. So big alrdy still do senseless things n haf no sense of responsibility.

we alrdy agree each of us buy 2 wks of 8 days wad. then ytd cos e mag is not out yet, i said i will buy it today. Then he came back just now with one freakin' same copy of 8 days. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

well... as u all can see my Friday was horrible la... so i was trying to decide whether or not i shld go to the brunch at my MJ kaki's house. Cos i was thinking abt e amt of work i haf to catch up with after i go there. Then i tot, i shld really give myself a break! I think if i stayed at home i would be so sian, and even if i done work its also not going to be productive ba.

So i made myself wake up, quickly rush thru some editing of e report then went to buy Polar's sugar rolls to bring over. Haha... i reached first and spotted Bernard's car, he was watching Hi-5 inside with his son. He is so cute la, haha... then after that we had to wait for e others. Wa... Kelly i really gotta say again. u look very different from e picture. We almost tot its not u. Luckily Ash-jie recognised me when i finally decided to go down e car to 'test' with my Polar cakes. Cos we had settled that i was going to get them. Hee...

Wendy was late so we moved on first. Bernard's hse is actually quite nice, simple decor and gives u a homely feeling. Ronan n Celine were cute, but Celine was a bit shy of strangers. So we started to play MJ after lunch. lunch was nasi lemak! real mj with money. Me n kelly shared a seat. Wa... very stressed playing with those seasoned players. But they were real nice to wait for us to decide n tell us wad to look out for during e game. in e end, they didn't even collect wad we lost from us. Oh ya, once i had unconsciously put shuo zi out without noticing Wendy was playing tt n alrdy 9 zhang luo di. i havent place that tile on e table though, just had it out. after that i tot... aiya, put out jiu put out le ba... then really she game. 5 fan... $3.20, lucky we play 10c only. haha...

all in all it was very fun, alot of details i would love to put here, haha... I had even sat down n help kelly-mei with her compre & grammar hw. Makes me miss e days where hw can be done so much faster... =p

today was DAMN CUI OK! i really dunno how else to describe. Black Friday ah?!

woke up n had to rush to library to print notes n do some extra research, so no time to eat breakfast. Packed n go. then during my translation me n pris went for some unplanned breakfast. I had an apple pie.

then after lessons rushed to meet clazmates to submit e things for IRO. had my 'breakfast' plus a coke. All this lasted me till like 6 plus in e evening. I was doing project all e while n no time to eat, super hungry sia. in e library cant bring in food also.

and got this super act zai but actually not contributing person in e grp, i really dunno wad to say. now we kio sai for her cos of e crap she gave. and talking abt library...

of all e places, and all e people... who would expect me to meet molester in the sch library. *faint* shall not elaborate abt it... telling myself be more careful next time.

Today is friday but so wad... look at my horrendous day. ARGH.

Really man... i think from this wk onwards almost every wk will be as busy and hellish ba. If not with projects then its with catching up with FM or doing revision. After next Monday we'll have a lighter load cos we would be handing up our acctg project. And e FM project would also be more or less done. *phew*

What's left would be catch up on FM seriously... cos we've not been able to catch up with the tut. Me and Min just passed the FM quiz. Actually we're quite thankful we got pass alrdy la. And after e quiz then did i understand one of the chapters better. But during IT... Gabriel was playing around with Malcolm's paper n showed us e mark on it. 30/30 sia... *faint* ok la, do u think it could be cos he came from SIM and had e foundations laid alrdy? But honestly those guys in our class haf GPA that are seriously too high. like in Gabriel's IT group. The lowest is 3.9 and the highest is 4.8...

Me and Wens and Min decided we shld work on the next, and also e last, FM quiz and score on it! Cos at least acctg we can understand wad is it talking abt, and e quizes are do-able. but FM... =.=

was so busy ytd n today for e acctg mid-term. and also e FM report. Monday we had got back our acctg quiz, my result was still not bad so i was hoping the Mid-term wont turn out bad... stayed in Min's hall e whole afternoon to do e past terms Mid-term tog ytd and felt so stressed. It doesn't help that our FM tutor put an announcement to say we have to hand up our FM report on Wed. HEY. she said its due Fri on edventure. then 2 days b4 e tutorial she post an announcement n say hand in during tut on this Wed.

Wa piang... we still got quiz e day b4... how to hand in right. So i sent an email to her lo. And lucky e original announcement was still there so i copy paste for her to see. She didn't reply my email also. And the other grps came to ask me wad did she reply me, got change deadline? Aye... very weird leh. I rem i only send to my tutor n e rest of e peeps in my grp. How they noe de ah?!

anyway... Just less than an hour ago i was so depressed i cant slack after e cui acctg Mid-term. then someone sms me to say our tutor put announcement on edventure to say its her mistake abt e deadline. She postpone to next wed! WAHAHA.

Oh ya... Monday was also quite horrible cos first thing in e morning i realised i was being bang seh by these 2 classmates from last sem. We were doing e same elective with another gal - 4 of us - and they S/U the elective without telling us. Some more b4 that one of them still say she is very reluctant to S/U it. Thks a lot man... I pretend i dunno anything abt it la. But due to this incident n another previous one(hai, chose to gave the benefit of doubt then... but now?) I alrdy have some reservations abt them... as to whether i can really trust n depend on them. TIRED. of this kind of pp.

Cousin got ready e doc for card le... so i went over this morning to sign n give him e photocopy of my IC. saw his poodle mixed. haha, his fur grew much thicker le and havent trim yet, so he look a bit pui pui de. Was sitting down in a small chair n stroking his hair n he just lay his head on my lap n look at me... with those watery puppy eyes u noe? then my cousin noted that 'hei gou' (black dog, haha... my cousin calls him this cos he's black) didn't bark at me. she say usually he bark whenever strangers pass by e hse. lucky me, i dont like fierce dogs. So she went 'hei gou, sit.' 'hei gou, go!' and the poodle mixed really respond to the name... haha... first time i hear such a dog name.

Dad admitting into e hospital today for a checkup on his liver. I tot after e procedures he'll be admitted then we can go home le. But who noes... still have to wait for them to get ready e bed. n there was a delay. After when we finally got a bed for my dad, the doctor's busy n will take some time to come... so we left first lo. Cos e nurse say since my dad can answer e doc's qns himself then we can leave first its ok. Well... you would think why would my father not be able to ans them right? Haha... cos apparently most of e pp in e ward there are elderly with maids accompanying them. some got tubes in their necks, noses etc.

then this uncle beside my dad's bed very funny leh... kp wanting to get out of e ward. he say he want to go to e foodcourt downstairs to buy food. His maid was unable to talk him round, so e nurses had to try n refrain him lo. 1st time was a male nurse, after that a female nurse came. And she bluff him that sunday e foodcourt nv open... that they can make him some milo with biscuits if he hungry. So luckily he still believe... then he say ok lo, i go toilet... haha. Although its a sunday but its still busy for e doc. In my time there i only saw this male doctor. Look quite young. I think cos its sun ba, he wear very casually leh. only jeans n a T-shirt. I tot they nd to wear those white hospital robes? haha... dunno la.

Almost spent the whole afternoon there le. So i couldn't do any revision till now. I didn't noe would be so long, if not i would have brought my notes there le... Just now it was just waiting, waiting, waiting......

Lucky we decided to take a cab home... And we went by AYE. Was feeling damn bored n slpy after all e waiting so i was just staring out of e windows n stoning... Seeing all e landmarks beside AYE just brings back all e memories. Suddenly realise how much memories that stretch of road can bring back. NHSS... the overhead bridge where we sometimes dash across to catch e bus. The stadium where we had all our sports day n screamed our heads off. Jack's Place... where i had nice lunches(2 treats by mr chia only la... haha. but still memorable) with my SJAB frens. And although when i worked in starhub i didn't go to work by the route, i could see the building with e Starhub logo whenever i passed by there. the place where i spent 8 mths there... slogging my guts out working OT, e friends i had made in e end... and some who taught me valuable lessons in life...

So much, so much has happened... just now in e cab as all these flashed in my mind i suddenly felt very emotional. Its clear that different people will accompany you at different stages of ur life. And sometimes when they leave u or u just drifted apart, memories are e things left that binds u to that past. As much as we dont like this to happen, its inevitable it will...

well... finished my Biz Law tut & did some notes on Tort. And is supposed to start on acctg revision... but I'm easily distracted... as always... this time not to play MJ. but simply some random surfingon e net. Reading e news la, seeing wad nice games to play la... aiyo!!! a few more hrs to going out to meet them... must jia you now... at least revise sth ya?

saw this prog earlier this wk abt the pet farm at Pasir Ris Farmway 2... they got so much cute puppies there! wa... actually beagles also quite cute, n they dont haf as much hair... hmm... maybe can consider that next time hor? mum dont like dogs mostly cos of their hair. She dont like them dropping all over e place. Aiya... just excuse la i think... even we drop hair wad, much less to mention a dog...

my online MJ kakis are rather enthu abt e game leh. They are meeting at one of e kaki's hse to play MJ next sat n asked me to join them. I'll most probably be going but wont be playing e real thing with them la. Dont dare, haha... then maybe play bridge or dai di with e other gals not playing. And ya. play with his kids! Saw their photos... so cute. but dont think can take for u all to see ba? haha...

then 24th they organizing a bbq... at East Coast Park. so onz right? wa... exams coming soon. So b4 going must make sure i do some serious wk first. Like tml... i decided to join u guys after e movie. So i can have more time at home...

Was closing my bedroom door when i saw some brown thing zip out from e clothes hung behind my door... then i saw IT. OMG... scream la of cos. it flew n was just in front of my face leh. First reaction was to turn around n get away from it. Lucky it just stay on e cupboard... got my mum to ge rid of it for me... hehe. i hate them!!!

hai... purposely come to sch early so i can print e notes for this week n next. But the server down n there's no Edventure leh.... argh, too early for lecture n there's nothing i can do.

just now went to withdraw money, I actually forgot to take my receipt leh. Lucky the guy behind me passed it to me... If not, who noes wad will happen to my a/c ya? *phew*

Next tuesday got acctg Mid-Term test... so haf to make use of these few days to finish up e tut... and revise for e test too... Kor just said this Sat our plans can work! Movie + go thong ler's hse... Woohoo! will be a great way to end e wk after so much hectic stuff...

Hmm... cousin yusheng say maybe can help me book air tickets cos he noes someone from tour agency. And he said he's gg to raise his c/c limit for e month of my trip. Till 10K... *faint. I told him i will never ever spend that much... cos i wont bear to n my mum will kill me... haha. We might be going northwards up to London after our whole trip though. Since we're alrdy in Europe... might as well make e best of it. But we'll still have to compare prices n discuss n see how... nothing much settled yet... but we're very much looking fwd to it!

and aiya... my phone got prob leh. These few mornings when i wake up n switch on my phone. there's this msg that says 'Phone is restricted' and asked me for a restriction code. So i called Singtel of cos... dunno wad is restricting my phone. Network or e phone itself got prob leh? The CSO says shld be my phone got software prob. Ask me to take to Nokia Care Center to get it upgraded... OMG... haf to go into town leh... n nd to upgrade software prob means i will lose those stuff in my phone? like e sms? so ma fan...

well well... I was feeling much better today. Until in e morning... I felt e room sway around me... then i tot, must be cos I'm dizzy again... and went to rest.

then after lunch i was settling down to study... and after like one hour i felt myself swing left n right... then i tot... must be me. must be me. Giddy spells again... then i login MSN then realised actually its was e tremors from Sumatra! hahaha...... Not just me... actually most parts of S'pore like that today... And i went to turn on CNA. Woa... SAV is on e news. Apparently they suspended lesssons for e rest of today n let all students go homecos of e 2 tremors felt. They had evacuated e sch to e fields leh. those exercises we always did, rem? n got some tests going on too, but all cxled... wa... nv b4 e tremors from neighbouring countries so serious b4... hmm... now, shld go back to my FM revision liao... :(

I guess i forgot to mentioned last nite that i have finished watching Hana Kimi... Hmm... Well, its e only show that made me laugh so much every episode n yet i dont find it too silly to continue watching. Quite a pity that its ended so fast...

And honestly... I dont like e ending la... I know some of u guys havent watch it yet, so i shall not comment more in case there are spoilers! :P Just noe e ending not very gd la... haha...

I think i shall watch the whole show again during e hols. Maybe when I am in France? I sure hope e hostel have wireless connection. Cos SX said her hostel in Germany does not...

Well, this week is e-learning wk. And today is e only day my lectures are affected, so i dont haf to go to sch. But this is no cause for celebration... cos tml got 2 quizes! ARGH!

IT & FM... gee... not exactly my fave subjects... Lucky the acctg quiz ytd was not as bad as i expected... Hopefully can score in it ba...

last night was terrible... After i shut down com i went to slp on e bed. Tried to... Wa piang... feel as if I'm drowning in my bed. Head was so dizzy... flip here n there for ages till i really cant take it. Got up n went to e toilet... n puked sia...

Argh... sorry if anyone of u eating sth while reading this. Anyway... lucky i got up this morning feeling tired, but better... so dragged myself to sch. Got test n assessed presentation wad. no choice... A bit giddy n not much appetite. After sch... went home, had dinner n went to see a doc lo... if not tml stay at home... nd to study for wed's quizes. Cant afford to be so sick again...

And today's presentation... guai guai de. Dunno why... feel so insecure. And when i presented... my voice was shaky leh. As in nervous kind of shaky... haha. no matter how i tried cannot adjust back to my normal voice... but at least i finished everything. Not going to think so much abt it. Still got one more try! do better next time ba!

Cousin yusheng gave me such a nice surprise by calling me today. he learnt from his mum that I'm gg to France. And asked if i got a supplementary card. I said no... then he said he can apply one for me... *touched* of cos, i will pay him back if i use e card for any thing la... but he so initiative to come n ask me i really quite touched... =D

got this terrible headache n dizzy spell all of a sudden. Am studying for e acctg test. took a late nap just now n wasn't feeling tired or wad. Was reading blogs for a break n all of a sudden... my laptop screen seems to be shaking... left n right... slow but a sure rocking from left to right, left to right... cannot be earthquake. but how come e book didn't do e same... only my laptop... my laptop cant be vibrating... no one will believe that...

then wad happen?! still got one chapter left... better lie down on my bed. wonder wad's wrong... my head's pounding...

last day of holidays... argh... although next week is e-learning week n is supposedly to be more free for us. I think not! Next wk haf 3 quizes, with one tml + a accessed presentation... Think wed is e killer. And acctg mid-term test is coming up on the 13th... which is one more wk i think?

Anyway... changed a blogskin and added some music, thks to Kelly mei (heh heh peeps, she's one of my MJ kakis on Yahoo). Saw this iWeb thing on her blog that enable us to play music on our blog. You guys can try it! Very blue hor... will change my blogskin more frequently...

Protege ytd was great... Ah, in e movie we finally heard what was e correct translation of the word Protege... but after e movie all of us sort of forgotten e exact pronunciation... :P but its a French word so maybe i can ask Veron next wk. Hmm... hope e gathering next wk will be a success! Another movie plus going to Ler's hse if his hse available... woohoo...

Yes yes... Gotten back e results of the application to GSS. Shuxian also gotte her first choice... Congrats to us, yipee... So excited now... And i also decided to push back my braces till after e trip... Cos i think it'll be rather inconvenient... Yep. A motivation ba... But nd lots of preparation. First thing is nd to ask abt how to fly over there... Book tog with e sch or bk ourselves etc... Lots of things to buy too i guess? Leave that till after e exams!

dunno why, past few days been hit by Hana-Kimi craze, haha... watched all e episodes available on Youtube - till e 2nd last episode. And like the ending song by Tank too... The MV is so sweet!
