full house at Jer's. Labour Day wkend
spent my Labour Day weekend with Jer's family. His youngest sis asked me to stayover a few times and yeah, frankly speaking we would appreciate the time together b4 I was to fly.
this whole weekend was a very enjoyable one, though it was dampened by the fact that my period came on Saturday (my first day there). Yes, of cos I rather it spoil my wkend trip than my grad trip. But was like so tired and cramping that his sisters said 'oh... no wonder you look like that', and she hunched her back and gave a very 'sian' look. HAHAHA. they're funny in a cute way. sometimes they meant to make you laugh, sometimes they don't and they still do.
I think this was one of the times I really felt that 'hey... this feels like home'. After dinner Megan commented 'Mummy got 6 children, kor'. She was refering to all the kids in the family and their gf/bf. And Aunt Lynn was really sweet to offer me to lend me her jacket after I said it'll be cold in Melbourne. Before I left for home just now, she gave me a red packet and wished me a happy birthday & a safe trip to Aussie. How nice is that! I was really touched at her little gestures... I know Jer will say silly gal... its been almost a year since we were tog and I know they treat us like family. But yeah, its the first time I've really interacted with my boyfriend's family to this extent... so it can be a lil' overwhelming at times.
their sisters pestered us to tell them how we started. I decided it was a gd time to let them know anyway... so they heard of how it started from the day we spoke at the guardhse and the rest is history... you guys know already (: so yeah, he got teased of cos! hahaha. we both did... and they ask me
'SH... then you got regret breaking up with your ex-bf?'
No prize for guessing my answer!
嬷嬷 even told Jer that they are very surprised that I can click so well with his cousins... and that I was even willing to play with them. hahaha, apparently they thought I'm like the older child, more matured... won't know hw to play with kids maybe?
